Identifying a need in the auto electrical industry aftermarket, for a medium with which ALL could communicate clearly and concisely their requirements for parts, resulted in the conception of Autocosmos.biz' Electrolog……

Data development started in 1995 and the software development in 2000. The"beta" vision of the Electrolog was launched at the Auto Africa 2004 Motor Show and was soon afterward made available to the industry. Today after many years of research, data capturing and software development the industry is now able to reap the benefits of the Electrolog. With over 700 users, in over 11 countries, it has become the communication medium of Southern Africa Auto Electrical needs in the Aftermarket.

Our Vision is to create a communication medium between the users, manufacturers, buyers and suppliers at all levels in the Auto Electrical Industries aftermarket, be they at the workshop level, wholesale, retail, importing or even at the manufacturer level of the industry. This results in efficient and effective processing of accurate orders, quotes and order or supply of parts correctly at the first time. Thereby, cutting down on the time and cost of sending items as per sample, having lengthy telephone calls trying to explain the part or wrongly ordering or supplying parts which then need to be sent back and ordered correctly and this costs money.

In 2009, we launched a brand new Electrolog. Easily customisable and very versatile it allows for integration, growth and development in just about any automotive industry organisation. New Ranges are constantly being added. Examples of the latest addition are: hoses, steering and suspension, timing belts, fan belts and poly-v belts. New ranges are being added with every update…..
