Automechanika Johannesburg - Africa Road Trip first leg to Botswana successfully completed
Tracey Gounden, Porfolio Director and Business Development Director, Automechanika Johannesburg, and her team recently successfully completed the first leg of their Africa Road trip information sessions in Gaborone, Botswana. These strategic information sessions, scheduled to visit five countries in sub-saharan Africa, will once again provide valuable facts and figures on the SA Automotive industry and the role the upcoming Automechanika Johannesburg 2025 event plays in providing current and potential customers the opportunity to see the new technologies and products available in the aftermarket, as well as meet face to face with local and international suppliers.
The first of these sessions in partnership with the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) took place in Gaborone on Tuesday 06 May, successfully addressing key players from a wide range of automotive aftermarket companies, trade organisations and government agencies in Botswana. In addition to Gounden’s presentation on Automechanika Johannesburg2025 and the SA Auto Industry, there were interesting addresses and presentations from Kabo Sebele, BITC Director, Investment Promotions and Thomas Molebatsi, BITC, Project Manager.
Gounden expressed her satisfaction with the level of interaction and interest from the delegates in attending the Automechanika Johannesburg 2025 event taking place at the Gallagher Convention Centre from the 28 – 30th October 2025. She says they are looking forward to the next leg of the Automechanika Johannesburg Africa Road Trip at the Sarova Stanley Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya taking place on the 28th May, 2025.
