Axalta offers free e-learning to refinishers

To support refinishers under the current stay-at-home restrictions, Axalta, a leading global supplier of liquid and power coatings, is offering its popular refinish e-learning programmes, offered through its three premium brands Cromax, Spies Hecker and Standox, free of charge until 25 June 2020.

E-CTCfrom Cromax, MyTrainingfrom Spies Hecker and MiKEYfrom Standox are interactive, web-based training programmes that offer refinishers the flexibility of learning specialist skills on a computer or mobile device from anywhere with an internet connection. There are seven modules to complete covering safety in the workplace, surface preparation, plastic part preparation and repair, high-performance substrates, colours and colour tools, refinish repair process and application defects.

Hannes Kloppers, Country Business Leader for Axalta in South Africa, says, “In these truly unprecedented times it’s important to find ways we can continue to support our refinishers. By making the Cromax, Spies Hecker and Standox online training programmes available free of charge, refinishers can brush up on existing skills or learn new ones while they are following the stay at home guidelines. Each training module takes approximately an hour to complete and they can be worked through in any order.”
