Axalta Opens New State-of-the-Art Refinish Customer Training Center in Corporate Park South, Midrand

Axalta, a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, hosted members of the refinish industry at their new premises, in Midrand recently, for the official opening of the company’s state of the art Customer Training centre. The refinish facility opened in late 2018 now includes the training centre and is a further commitment to the SA refinish market by Axalta.

Officially opened by Axalta Coating Systems, Georg Tautz, Business Director, Central Europe, Greater Turkey and sub-Saharan Africa and Hannes Kloppers, Country Business Leader for Axalta in South Africa with the full complement of the SA Axalta staff. With two spray-booths, two preparation areas and a pair of mixing rooms, all equipped with the latest in technology, from their aligned partner Gondolier, as well as modern energy saving features, the 1000m²training centre is home to Axalta’s global refinish brands Spies Hecker, Standox, Duxone, Challenger and Nason Finishes. Additional space for theoretical training and demonstration, is conveniently situated adjacent to the work area.
