Brazil Parts Programme Packing For JHB

Automechanika Johannesburg is almost here and the event organizers have announced that among the exhibitors, twenty one manufacturers will feature the best in auto parts from Brazil.

Part of the show which will be held from May 6 to 9, the Brazilian Pavilion is coordinated by Brasil Auto Parts, in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), and will be located at Hall 6, stand F/G029 (Johannesburg Expo Centre).

The companies that will present products and solutions to the event's select audience are: ABR, Autolinea, Autotrave, Chiptronic, Controil, Duroline, Farj, Fras-le, Fremax, Frum, Masterpower, Metalmatrix, Reserplastic, Riosulense, Sampel, Schadek, Suporte Rei, Suspensys, Tecfil, Univel, Urba-Brosol.

Antonio Carlos Bento de Souza, Sindipeças' Board Member responsible for the Brasil Auto Parts programme, comments: "This is our 1st participation in what is considered a very important trade fair for the automotive industry. Automechanika Johannesburg is a showcase visited by people from all over the world, aiming to see a wide variety of products, innovations and solutions. This trade show is very important to our members as we can meet existing clients, prospect new ones and learn about trends in our sector."

Brazil is the fourth largest vehicle consumer market in the world, with an estimated fleet of 41 million vehicles. More than 29 vehicle brands have local production that is supplied by a complete auto parts and components manufacturing chain. Indicators demonstrate the extent of this sector: the revenue of the nearly 500 members of Sindipeças - the Brazilian Association of Automotive Auto Parts & Components Manufacturers, representing 95% of Brazilian auto parts industry - reached the sum of US$ 39.7 billion in 2013.

The Brasil Auto Parts project was created in 2005 (formerly known as Excellence in Auto Parts), in partnership with Apex-Brasil, under the coordination of Sindipeças, to promote exports of auto parts and components for automotive vehicles. Visit the team at Hall 6, stand F025/F028.
