Lightstone recognises 2020 top Motor Body Repairers in SA

 

Over the last three years Lightstone has hosted the EchoMBR (Motor Body Repairers) Ranking Awards highlighting the top Motor Body Repairers (MBR) in South Africa. 

 

This year Cannings Autobody Repair Specialists based in the Western Cape has been recognised as the Top Overall MBR in the country. The second and third spots went to Autotrust in Port Elizabeth and Park Panelbeaters from Vanderbijlpark respectively.

 

The EchoMBR program was developed in 2005 and fulfilled the need to introduce one standard measurement process across the industry. “The EchoMBR Ranking Awards aims to recognise MBR’s that have proven to be best in breed across multiple categories. In calculating the awards, customer experience feedback was solicited from more than 31 122 customers representing more than 697 qualifying MBR’s in South Africa.” says Mark Groch from Lightstone. 

 

The results allow the MBR industry to view their establishment through the eyes of their customer and create an industry standard where customers’ expectations are met and even exceeded. “These results provide the South African consumer with trustworthy choices for motor body repairers across South Africa; often consumers are faced with the difficult decision to find a reliable panel beater and these results provide reputable options in various provinces.” 

 

Apart from the over Overall National MBR of the Year, the awards categories include:

1.     Most likely to be ready on time

2.     Most likely to offer quality repair

3.     Most likely to keep you informed

4.     Most likely to be recommended

5.     Friendliest staff

 

Over 800 MBRs are linked to the EchoMBR programme since its inception and the platform processes between 45 and 50 thousand records each month. “We realise that 2020 has been difficult for the industry; and for these industry specialists to be able to provide world class service despite the challenges is cause for celebration,” concludes Groch.
