MISA - Woman of the Year 2023 Award
Martlé Keyter, CEO Operations, The Motor Industry Staff Association (MISA) recently introduced the five finalists and announced the winner of the annual MISA Woman of the Year award for 2023, at a gala event, attended by invited industry leaders, MISA office bearers, members and staff, in Fourways, Johannesburg.
Keyter, is also the National Co-ordinator of the MISA Women’s Forum, having founded the #MISA Women’s Forum in 2009 to raise general awareness and to increase the understanding of gender equality issues in the workplace. Through #MISA, women are able to invest in skills, knowledge and lifelong learning. MISA and the Women’s Forum are strong advocates against Gender Based Violence (GBV).
MISA’s annual “Woman of the Year Award” is an acknowledgement of women’s strength, determination, perseverance and achievements in the face of adversity. 2022 MISA Woman of the Year Monique Dalhauzie, had sage advice for this year’s finalists and said, “Winning 2022 Woman of the Year and the support of the MISA staff had helped her focus her self-confidence both within and outside of the workplace and that the finalists for the 2023 Woman of the Year should take advantage of the opportunities to make a difference in their own lives and those surrounding them. Dalhauzie presented several personal gifts of appreciation to those who had supported her growth over the past year.
Keyter announced that amongst the other prizes, the winner of the 2023 award will get to attend the NADA Convention in Las Vegas, USA

After receiving their awards and gifts, the finalists waited in excited anticipation for the announcement of the winner of the MISA 2023 Woman of the Year. Keyter called on
Delmary Delport, to receive her award as ‘MISA’s 2023 Woman of the Year’
A proud and excited Delport congratulated all of the finalists, and said she looked forward meeting the challenges of the coming year, calling on all women to continue to strive for growth through upliftment of their skills and striving to assist their colleagues in growing and achieving their goals.
