VWSA has claimed two gold awards for its Customer Interaction Centre at an award ceremony held this week.
The annual Contact Centre Awards are hosted by the Contact Centre Management Group (CCMG). This year's event attracted over 350 entries in 12 categories across various industry sectors.
The automaker received a gold award for Best Supervisor and another for Best Workforce planner. It also scooped a silver award for Best Contact Centre Manager and a bronze award for Best Contact Centre Service Professional.
Award entrants are required to submit written entries in their respective categories to CCMG, which are then subjected to “a stringent internal judging process, followed by an on-site visit and interview by the judging panel”.
The winners in their respective categories were:
Thabisa Magxwalisa (Best Supervisor – Gold),
Jaun Lombard (Best Workforce Planner – Gold),
Desiree van der Merwe (Best Operational Manager – Silver)
Marius De Goede (Best Contact Centre Service Professional – Bronze).
According to Pommie Lutchman, Chairman of the CCMG Advisory Board: ‘’The VWSA entrants embody the true spirit of why the CCMG runs these very successful awards - the passion, drive and commitment shown by each of them has proved to be the winning combination for these outstanding individuals.’’
VWSA’s Customer Interaction Centre, which has been in operation for ten years, has won several awards on the national and international stage ranging from Best Outbound Campaign and Best Operational Manager to Best Contact Centre.
