The National Automobile Dealers’ Association (NADA) - which is part of the RMI - has highlighted its Dealer Performance Programme, with NADA national chairperson Mark Dommisse, explaining the programme’s function in the SA context. “Now in its fourth year, the NADA DPP provides a platform for like-minded industry experts and retail dealerships to participate in dialogue through relevant and challenging topics that have a direct impact on their businesses.”
In order to facilitate this goal, the programme involves a series of national roadshows, interactive workshops and monthly communications. “The programme creates a platform for individuals within the automobile retail dealership environment to meet and engage on issues related to improving dealership performance. This is a vital value-add service we provide to our members.” It then culminates in a national conference and Business of The Year (BOTY) award ceremony, which offers the top performing business in the retail dealership space the recognition of their achievement.
The 2018/19 programme sponsors - The National Automobile Dealers’ Association, Cars.co.za, Britehouse, Lightstone Consumer, Sewells-MSX International and WesBank - back the work of the organisation, as Jason Berriman, head, dealership sales at cars.co.za explains. “We are the newest sponsor to this exciting programme and know that we can add value and assist the industry in grasping the reality of a changing market.”
"This year’s NADA DPP is supported by a group of leading automotive specialists, and we are very excited to interrogate the outcomes and put the insights into practice in our various dealerships,” concludes Dommisse.
