NADA - passing away of Douw Leadley


The National Automobile Dealers’ Association (NADA) is saddened at the news of the passing away of Douw Leadley, one of the early pioneers and founders of MFC, a banking start-up that is now a division of Nedbank.

 

Douw leaves a sizeable legacy behind him and will be sadly missed. The industry has lost a man of huge experience, someone who was dedicated and committed to the dealer relationship. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

 

In paying tribute to Leadley, NADA Chairperson Mark Dommisse says: “Douw was a charismatic and gifted leader, who had the ability to positively influence those around him. An extremely passionate man in business, Douw led by example. He shaped deep relationships at all levels within dealerships he engaged with.”

 

“On behalf of NADA, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues and friends. His energy and effusive nature will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of working with him,” concludes Dommisse.
