Stellantis SA launches 8 official Leapmotor distributors around South Africa
The global joint venture between Leapmotor International and Stellantis is rapidly expanding and Stellantis SA proudly launched eight official distributors around South Africa today.
Stellantis SA Managing Director, Mike Whitfield, explains: “South Africa is a critical market for Stellantis, and we are fully committed to unlocking its potential through product, innovation and meaningful partnerships. The launch of these Leapmotor distributorships is an exciting step for us as we introduce exciting new options for those South Africans looking to invest in new energy vehicles.”

The initial launches introduce the Leapmotor C10 range extended energy vehicle (REEV), which combines advanced performance, bold design, and eco-conscious driving at an accessible price point. This model slots into the mid-size SUV segment, and appeals to a wide range of customers.
Belville
Reeds Belville has been appointed by Stellantis SA, as its distributor in Belville.
As part of this collaboration, a state-of-the-art Leapmotor showroom is set to open on 1 Voortrekker Road, Bellville, alongside other Stellantis brands.
A shared aftersales facility will be operational from launch day at Reeds Bellville, offering customers a seamless and integrated service experience across brands.
Constatiaberg
William Simpson has been appointed by Stellantis SA, as its distributor in Constantiaberg.
As part of this collaboration, a state-of-the-art Leapmotor showroom is set to open on 125 Main Road, Tokai, alongside other Stellantis brands.

As part of this collaboration, a state-of-the-art Leapmotor showroom is set to open on 20 October 2025 on 143 North Rand Road, Beyers Park, Boksburg, alongside other Stellantis brands.

All of the shared advanced aftersales facilities will feature dedicated service bays equipped to manage maintenance, diagnostics, and services for electric and conventional vehicles - all delivered by certified experts trained to the highest international standards. These centres will also include a contemporary customer lounge and comfortable amenities.
