The commercial vehicle, fleet and logistics sectors are invited to vote for the TruckX Awards, which form part of the TruckX Expo Conference and Awards being held at Sandton Convention Centre on 9 July 2015.
Ctrack and Standard Bank, in association with the Future Group, are again honouring South Africa’s leading participants in the commercial trucking and logistics sectors. The online submission form allows for 15 trade categories and the Drivers Hall of Fame nominations, all due before 30 June 2015.
Richard Lendrum, MD of Future Group, says: “We urge all stakeholders, industry leaders, players and enthusiasts to take part in the survey and we view it as a significant aspect of the event. In addition, one person will win R10 000 for just participating in the survey.”
The majority of categories contain alphabetical lists of brands from which a drop-down selection can be made. Those requiring personal answers provide an answer box. The results are audited by research house, Media Insights.

Fleet managers, MDs and CEOs are invited to nominate their leading drivers based on the driver's performance on the road in the past year. The nominees are assessed according to their years of experience, kilometres driven, class of vehicle driven, number of traffic violations (fines), number of accidents and hours spent on the road in a seven-day week.
A panel of experts will adjudicate nominees and name the Top 5 drivers to be inducted into the TruckX Drivers’ Hall of Fame, who will be honoured at the TruckX Expo, Conference and Awards on 9 July 2015 at the Sandton Convention Centre.
Toni Fritz, Head of Vehicle and Asset Finance, Business Market at Standard Bank, another event sponsor, adds: “The Awards portion of the expo is very exciting and we are looking for your votes to ensure honours and accolades are presented to the most deserving in the industry.”
