Bernaidne Laing is the dynamic franchise owner of Supa Quick Kloof, bringing strong leadership, a customer-first philosophy, and a legacy of excellence to the automotive fitment industry. With a background in sales and five years of hands-on experience in the automotive sector, Bernaidne’s journey into franchise ownership is rooted in mentorship and family heritage.
She was introduced to the business by her father, Neil Laing, a trailblazer in the industry and the first Supa Quick franchisee in KwaZulu-Natal. Bernaidne officially joined the Supa Quick network through her father’s business, later acquiring the Kloof branch a location that has become known for its exceptional service, innovation, and community-centered approach. Under her leadership, Supa Quick Kloof offers premium services including tyres, suspension work, and air conditioning re-gassing. The store is also celebrated for its unique customer conveniences, such as ramp reservations for sales reps and a pick-up/drop-off service for busy clients a reflection of Bernaidne’s commitment to making every customer feel like family.
Her leadership style is grounded in integrity, kindness, and high standards. “If you can be anything in the world, just be kind,” she says a personal philosophy that guides both her professional and personal life. She leads a team of nine, fostering a collaborative and empowering work environment. Looking ahead, she plans to expand her business footprint through new store openings and continued service excellence.
Beyond her role at Kloof, Bernaidne also serves on the National Council for the Supa Quick franchise network, where she represents the KwaZulu-Natal region. In this position, she facilitates communication between franchisees and national leadership, contributing to strategic discussions on supplier changes, regulatory developments, and future growth planning. Her involvement has strengthened her ability to think beyond day-to-day operations and implement forward-thinking solutions at her own store.
Bernaidne considers her Council role both an honour and a responsibility. “Being nominated was incredibly humbling. It’s an opportunity to grow alongside like-minded leaders who genuinely want to see each other succeed.”
